Monthly payment is due on the 1st of each month. We provide a 5-day grace period for monthly payments. If we have not received your payment after the 5th of the month, a $10 daily charge will be added until payment is made

Once full payment is made, Fatima's Garden will add the purchaser as a "Registered Agent" to the burial plot. Additionally, the original burial plot deed will be transferred to the owner. Fatima's Garden will retain the rights to the burial plot. These measures have been taken to prevent purchasers from reselling burial plots for a profit. Additionally, this will prevent a purchaser from reselling a burial plot to a non-muslim, as Fatima's Garden is strictly for Muslims.

BURIAL COSTS- FOREST PARK CEMETERY

Forest Park Cemetery charges a one-time opening and closing fee of $2,195, which covers digging the burial site, funeral setup, and closing the grave after the service.

In addition, there is a $1,500 fee for placement of the deceased within a concrete burial vault, as required by the State of Texas. In accordance with Islamic tradition, a significant amount of earth is placed inside the vault along with the body.

To make these costs more manageable, Forest Park Cemetery offers payment plans that can be arranged prior to the funeral. For more details or to set up a plan, please contact the cemetery directly at (936) 321-5115.

FUNERAL SERVICE COSTS- DR. IQBAL

The estimated cost for funeral services—including funeral director services, transportation and ghusl (ritual washing)—ranges between $1,500 and $2,500. For specific details regarding these services, please contact Dr. Iqbal (Funeral Director) at 832-499-1880

Please note, Fatima’s Garden does not manage or control the pricing of funeral services provided by Forest Park Cemetery or Dr. Iqbal. If you require assistance with covering these costs, we kindly encourage you to reach out directly to the respective organization.

Checks that do not clear will be charged a $50 fee per incident 

We understand that unexpected situations can occur in life. Please contact the management of Fatima's Garden and we will try our best to work with you on a solution. Depending on the situation, we may refund the payments you have made and ask that you revisit us when your financial situation has improved. Please note, this means that your reserved burial plot may be released to the public. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. 

Fatima's Garden has a working relationship with the Islamic Society of Greater Houston(ISGH). Currently, ISGH is the only organization that provides transportation and ghusl services within the Houston area.
